Faulty pH probe and its impact on the redox measurement: Customer service dialogue

Client:
Hello,
I ordered a Redox and a pH probe for the VA Salt Smart from BS Pool from you in April.
The pH probe is only showing 7.0, regardless of the water value. Even when calibrating, it shows 7.0 in the 4.0 solution and the system then reports an error.
The probe is likely defective.
That would be very kind.

I have one more question.
Since the probe measured incorrectly, almost the entire container of minus oh was pumped into the pool. It is no longer measurable with poolLab. Does this have any impact on the Redox probe? It alternates between showing a value of almost 900 and 2. However, when I hold it in the buffer solution, it shows the correct value.
Okay, then I will wait for the new pH probe. Do you need anything else from me? Will I receive an email?
Thank you very much.
Have a great day.

Technical Advisor:
Hello.
It is a defective probe. We will send you a new probe today.
I need your email.
That is normal.
Thank you.
Yes, this can affect the Redox measurement. You will need to wait for it to stabilize.
No, that is all we will be sending out for the day.
You're welcome.
