I just did the test with tap water the device told me 7 and adding vinegar it goes down to 4. which would mean that the probe is working !!!! but where is the problem?

Yes. Now put the probe in the pH7.what value do you read?

I probably have to redo the calibration at 7 and 4?

And if you put the probe in the pool water, what value do you measure?

You have to let it run. normally the ph should go up to 7.2 (or 7.3) everything seems normal to me
