Understanding the calibration issues with too high or too low probe values.

Client: What does it mean during calibration when it shows "out of range"?

Technical advisor: Hello

This often means that the value provided by the probe before calibration is too high/low to allow for calibration

Client: That worked

Technical advisor: Hello

What values did you read?

Client: In the test, it was 11.4 without vinegar and 10.2 with vinegar

Technical advisor: For this reason, the pH value in the water is much too high (11.4), normally (6.5-7.5) and with vinegar (3-5).

Looking at the values, I think the probe has a problem. I will try it tomorrow and leave the probe in the water tonight

Client: Ok, I'll try that. Could it be the reason why the water remains cloudy?

Technical advisor: It's possible

Client: I'll get back to you tomorrow 🙂

Thank you very much!

Technical advisor: You're welcome

Client: Currently, I have a pH value of 1.9! Unfortunately, about 5 liters of pH minus were pumped into the pool before installing your new pH probe. I have already added about 2.5 kg of sodium carbonate to the pool without the value changing. What can I do?

Technical advisor: Hello

Please test the probe in this way, it could be a faulty probe https://ph-redox-pool.com/gb/content/16-ma-sonde-ph-est-elle-hors-service-
