Hello,
I have a fairly old zodiac tri pro.
The be redox probe seems to be working.
I measured the voltage between the probe terminals with a voltmeter when the probe is in tap water, then in salt water. It gives the same voltage 0.330V.
Can you tell me the compatible probe for my device?
Cordially

Good morning. , You can test your redox sensor like This

You cannot measure the voltage across a probe with a standard voltmeter.

You must read the values on your device

This is exactly the type of measurement I made.
I can only read the voltage with a voltmeter, the tri pro device does not read the current value

Unfortunately, my device does not allow this reader

Are there any LEDs?

avatar
Jul 03, 2022, 8:26 pm

Do you know if there is another way?
By feeding the probe?

avatar
Jul 03, 2022, 8:26 pm

No, no LEDs

avatar
Olivier Michaud Jul 03, 2022, 8:27 pm

No, you need a pH meter.

My only possibility is to do a calibration at 700mV

avatar
Olivier Michaud Jul 03, 2022, 8:27 pm

What set point do you have?

avatar
Jul 03, 2022, 8:28 pm

On zodiac, it's an ACL setpoint that starts at 1, they recommend 2

avatar
Jul 03, 2022, 8:28 pm

Even at 5, the system does not produce

avatar
Jul 03, 2022, 8:28 pm

While boost mode is ok

How old is your probe?

avatar
Jul 03, 2022, 8:30 pm

It seems to me that it is at the end of summer 2021 and that I bought it from you

avatar
Olivier Michaud Jul 03, 2022, 8:31 pm

You can try all the positions from 1 to 5 with water and salt and see if the chlorinator starts.

It is under warranty in this case.

The pool water is correctly salted, I can see that the system is producing in boost mode, but not in classic mode. Even with a very high deposit.

Tap water with salt

It may be a sensor that simply no longer works. This sometimes happens

avatar
Jul 03, 2022, 8:35 pm

Ok, I'll see to try salty tap water.
I would have just liked to test the probe simply before making use of the guarantee.
I test and I will come back to you.
Good evening and thank you for your answers.

Give me your email! I'm going to send you one because it looks like that. And it worked last summer?

avatar

Not sure it worked last summer, the cell was dead and the water was green when we got back.
Since then, we struggle to keep it clean

Thank you. Give me the results but that's the problem

I managed to take the test.
I removed the probe from the PoD.
Plugged the hole.
I ran the system with the probe in a glass of very salty water.
Then I played with the instruction from 1 to 6.
The system does not produce. There are no bubbles coming out of the cell.
I checked in boost mode, I have some.

I'll send you a probe tomorrow, it's the easiest
