Hello
Client:
I just received the ORP-1-3-2976 redox probe. I'm not sure if it's compatible with the STi II regulator from Irripool
Technical Advisor:
What seems to be the problem?
Client:
I connected it, calibrated it to 470mV with the buffer solution, and the displayed measurements are inconsistent
Technical Advisor:
It's working normally. If you dip the probe into the 470 mV solution, what value do you read?
Client:
The first time I read a value of 680mV
Technical Advisor:
And after calibration?
Client:
After adjusting the value to 470mV, when I place it in the pool water, I get a value of 530mV when it should be well above 630mV
Technical Advisor:
So at 470 mV, you read 470 mV?
Client:
Yes, because I calibrated it that way
Technical Advisor:
Have you recently done a shock treatment with chlorine?
Client:
No. I changed the probe because the old one didn't seem to be working properly. It was getting stuck at 640mV, just below the set value, and wouldn't go up anymore. As a result, I had an overproduction of chlorine.
Technical Advisor:
Great.
Technical Advisor:
How do you know it should be above 630mV?
Client:
Because the chlorine level is much higher than it should be when I measure it.
