Comparing ORP Probes: Sugar Valley's High Costs vs. Affordable Alternatives

Just wondering, will this ORP probe do the same job as a probe from Sugar Valley which is almost 8 times more expensive?

Taking into account that with the original probe from Sugar Valley, there is also some electronic chip in the package.

I guess that first I need to buy that chip from them, because only with your probe it won't work??

And their equipment is so expensive and very closed technology so there are no compatibles.

You know is there anybody who is producing copies of their chips?
