Troubleshooting Aquascenic System Issues: A Guide to Testing Buffers and Probes

Client:

Hey, are you online? 🙂

Technical Advisor:

Yes, I am.

Client:

Ah great. I wonder, do you sell buffer for aquascenic? PH, Redox and salinity.

Technical Advisor:

Yes, do you know the value you need? Just for pH and redox.

Client:

Well thing is, I have had problems with my system all last year and this year. But now I suspect its either buffer or it is probes. So some of them I need.

Technical Advisor:

Right first test your probes.

Client:

Right now I have tested each probe with test strip, and this is values I got:

Neutral 1 = 8.4 PH and 060 ALK
Neutral 2 = 6.4 PH and 000 ALK
Neutral 3 = 8.3 PH and 060 ALK
PH 7 = 6.5 PH 190 ALK
PH10 = 8.4 PH 180 ALK
468mA = 6.4 PH 000 ALK
1413uM = 6.4PH 000 ALK
12880uM = 8.4PH 210 ALK

Neutral 1, 2 and 3 should be to PH, mA and uM, just not sure what neutral is to what...
I mixed them, they are bad labeled so I do not know if the 6.4 PH one is for salinity, PH or Redox..
